Sinigang na Bangus
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sampaloc
- 2 cups water
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 kilo bangus, cut into large pieces
- 3 pieces okra, sliced
- 2 pieces eggplant, sliced
- 1 bundle kangkong, cut into 2 inch lengths
- 2 pieces siling haba
- salt or patis to taste
Cooking Instructions
- Boil sampalok in some water until tender.
- Mash sampalok to extract juice.
- Strain in a pot, pour in water.
- Add onion and tomatoes. Boil.
- Add fish, okra, eggplant, kangkong stems, and siling haba.
- Add kangkong leaves.
- Season to taste.
