Ingredients

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place the rosemary and parsley inside the turkey.
  2. Brush olive oil all over the turkey.
  3. Season the turkey with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a dripping pan beneath the oven with the carrots, celery and onions in the dripping pan.
  5. Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Place the turkey in the oven.
  7. Roast for 45 minutes.
  8. Take out the dripping pan and add the broth.
  9. Loosely cover the turkey with foil.
  10. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  11. Roast for 2 hours.
  12. Use the pan drippings for gravy.
  13. Serve the turkey and the vegetables.
