Macaroons
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 eggs separated
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 4 cups dessicated coconut
- 1/2 cup sugar
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- Line muffin pans with paper cups.
- Cream butter until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the sugar.
- Beat in the egg yolks.
- Mix until smooth.
- Add condensed milk and dessicated coconut.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until frothy.
- Add sugar gradually and continue beating until stiff but not dry.
- Fold in the egg yolk mixture.
- Fill muffin pans with the batter.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
