Lumpiang Shanghai
Ingredients
- 1/4 kilo ground pork
- 1/8 kilo shrimps, chopped
- 1/4 singkamas, chopped
- 1/4 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tablespoons onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
- lumpia wrappers
- oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon oil
Cooking Instructions
- Combine cornstarch and water.
- Combine all ingredients for the lumpia except the wrapper.
- Wrap the ingredients in the wrapper.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Combine all ingredients for the sauce.
- Boil until thick.
