Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 tspn baking soda
- 1/2 tspn salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
Cooking Instructions
- Mix the butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, flour, cornmeal and salt into a batter.
- Pour the batter into a baking dish making a rectangular or square shape.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Cool and cut into squares. Serve.
