I want to see more Superman The most popular comics character ever - bar none. Superman has been around long enough to gain instant global recognition. If you've watched the Seinfeld series, look closely enough and Jerry Seinfeld has a Superman something in his apartment. Maybe you've got the same fascination for the Kryptonian? Well you're in luck. There is a Superman-themed product that should fit your wants. Even so, have you noticed that Superman is getting slowly outclassed by Batman? Of late, some major stories like Return of the Dark Knight actually portrays Superman as a pseudo-villain - making fun of his naive 'boy scout' ways. 'Kingdom Come' merely portrays him as a bit uncaring - choosing to exile himself and let the world go to seed, at least for a time. I think it's the 1950s boy scout mentality that grates with some people. But they seem to be reinventing Superman. If you want a more modern take you should focus on items featuring the new New 52 version of Superman - a hero reinvented for the twenty-first century. |
