Show me more DC mini busts For a time I went to the comic shop, not for the comics, but to look at their collections of mini-busts. Smaller - and therefore cheaper - than full-figure statues, these busts nonetheless sported the same wonderful detail. For obvious reasons I particularly like the portrayals of DC's female heroes and was quick to decide on a girl-only collection. You don't have to follow suit, of course. You have the opportunity to collect only the Titans, or only the JLA or only the Batman family. One tip though, pay attention to how you display these. cluttering them together in a hodgepodge really defeats the beauty of these pieces. Don't forget proper lighting to bring out all those sculptural details. Another way is to just display one on your desk - a colorful totem. Make it a hero who symbolizes something important to you. Mini-busts are issued in sets and older ones will automatically become collectible, so there is that too. Have fun surrounding yourself with the world of DC Comics. |
