Fantastic Four (2014) No. 1
The Fall of the Fantastic Four Part 1

Fantastic Four (2014) No. 1

Susan Storm is writing about what Reed is to her and of the first time I'm looking at something approaching a real world marriage.

reed richards

Long time married people do love and despise their spouse. Nothing wrong or out-of-place with that. That's just what happens when you've lived with someone for years and years.

My favorite Marvel character (together with the Beast) imprisoned for murder. Shit.

ben grimm

Susan is worried about Johnny because he's happy-go-lucky, womanizing and drinking. Sue, Johnny' been like that since 1962.

We are shown a two-pager of the good times.

Fantastic Four vs. Fin Fang Foom, one of the few Marvel characters that actually pre-dates the Four.

Invisible Woman protecting civilians from debris.

Johnny Storm delivers a powerful blast (reinforced by Reed's science).

Yes! The Thing delivers the coup de grace or, as Ben would prefer to call it - the knockout punch.

the thing punching fin fang foom

Ben Grimm is punching without the benefit of both or one of his feet bracing him to the ground, so this punch would really not be this powerful. And against a foe the size of Fin Fang Foom Ben should be shown as ricocheting the other direction as result of the counterforce. What am I talking about? This is a comicbook not a physics book.

Equally impressive is the containment facility S.H.I.E.L.D. uses for Fin Fang Foom.

On a lighter note, looks like Ben and Alicia are going to get back together.

As the issue comes to a close one of those gateways Richards keeps in the Baxter starts allowing unwanted guests.

monsters unleashed

Metallic gargoyles? Doesn't look so bad. The FF can handle this.
